Rabbi David Saltzman
Elementary School Principal
“One of the joys of my job is seeing children grow in Torah and learning and watching them progress during their tenure at the Elementary School. I witness this on a day to day basis throughout the years as they advance from grade to grade. Having the opportunity to nurture our young Kindergarten students as they develop into mature 5th graders is one of my true pleasures at Maimonides.”
Rabbi David Saltzman has served as principal of the
Elementary School since 2007. He joined Maimonides with 12 years of
elementary school teaching experience, including serving as a teacher
and director of programming at Yeshiva Har Torah in Queens, NY.
A native of Chicago, Rabbi Saltzman attended Kerem B’Yavneh in Israel
and earned his undergraduate degree in economics, a master’s degree in
education, and Smicha, all from Yeshiva University. He is working toward
his doctorate in educational supervision and administration. Rabbi
Saltzman and his wife Jodi have four children and reside in Sharon.
