The process of applying for financial aid consists of completing an online application and submitting the required documentation, including copies of your filed 2017 federal and state tax returns. Maimonides uses Independent School Management's FAST™ (Financial Aid for School Tuition) program to process financial aid applications.
For Further Assistance
We strive to make the financial aid process as accessible and user-friendly as possible. Please contact Arline Tannenbaum, Tuition and Financial Aid Administrator, at (617) 232-4452 x425 or email@example.com at any time with your questions.
Financial Aid Timeline for New Families, 2018-19
Families who have completed the admissions process will receive acceptance letters from the Admissions Office via email on March 9, 2018. If families have applied for financial aid and submitted the required tax documentation by March 9, they will be notified of their aid grants on March 9 in a separate email.
Families who apply later in the admissions cycle , or who are unable to submit their tax documentation by March 9, will be informed of their aid grants within two or three weeks of their financial aid applications and supporting documentation being submitted
NOTE: Families enrolling a child in a Jewish day school for the first time may wish to investigate CJP's Discover Day School grant program (for 2018-19, only students entering kindergarten through 8th grade are eligible). You may apply simultaneously for school-based financial aid and Discover Day School, but must choose between accepting school-based financial aid (for any children in your family) and using a CJP Discover Day School check. However, you may combine the Discover Day School check with our MAI (Maimonides Affordability Initiative) program.
