Part-time Middle / Upper School Math

Instructional Aide for 7th grade student
Maimonides School seeks Instructional Aide for 7th grade student, beginning late August.  Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (ending earlier on Fridays).

Qualifications:

  • Recent experience working with students with learning disabilities
  • Experience in special education, specifically remediating and skill building in academic areas
  • Able to provide support both in and out of the classroom
  • Familiar with Jewish texts
  • Fluent in Hebrew reading and writing
  • Warm and flexible personality
  • Willingness and ability to be part of a team of professionals
  • Able to facilitate learning of a substantially different math curriculum
  • College degree in education or related field preferred

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide support for individual student in curriculum areas of ELA, math, and Judaic studies
  • Plan curriculum goals tailored for student and modifications with classroom teachers
  • Implement identified strategies and recommendations from current IEP

Early Childhood Educators

The Maimonides Early Childhood Center (ECC) seeks experienced, enthusiastic teachers certified in Early Childhood Education.

Robotics Coach
Maimonides School is seeking candidates to teach and coach our FIRST FTC robotics team for the 2017-18 academic year. Our robotics program is a young one but with highly capable and devoted students poised on a curve of high growth and performance at a school full of STEM-loving students and parents. After-School Teacher
Maimonides School seeks a teacher for MateS (Maimonides Afterschool Time ExperienceS), the extended day program for Grades K-5. It runs Monday through Thursday, 3:45 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. Teachers are required to supervise periods of free play outside (weather permitting) or in our gym (inclement weather), snack and drink distribution, homework and more structured activities indoors, including board games, craft projects and team games. Teachers build relationships with individual children over different age groups and contribute to our students’ growth and well-being in a less structured environment than that of the school day.
