Welcome and thank you for your interest in Maimonides School! In the best tradition of Jewish education, Maimonides School provides a Torah-centered program that nurtures each student’s development, fosters community involvement, and sets rigorous academic standards. Our students grow spiritually and academically, gaining maturity in an environment focused on learning. Family involvement is a cornerstone of our success, and parents are welcomed as vital partners in the total education of our children.

With a curriculum designed to challenge, stimulate, and confer a mastery of skills in both Judaic and General Studies, we aim to educate the whole person—academically, socially, and morally. Maimonides School seeks to instill in each student an abiding attitude of respect for others, a sense of collective responsibility of Jews for each other, and a passionate commitment to the State of Israel.

At Maimonides School we pride ourselves on providing a consistently outstanding General Studies education, with our students regularly admitted to the colleges and universities of their choice. With high expectations of both our students and faculty, we maintain an academically rigorous atmosphere, conducive to inquiry and intellectual exploration. As a Modern Orthodox school with halachah as our bedrock, we teach Judaic Studies with sophistication, aiming to challenge and inspire our students. Our religious atmosphere encompasses the spectrum of Judaism’s ethical, ritual, and cognitive traditions.

Our goal is to make the application process as simple and friendly as possible. I look forward to the opportunity of getting to know you and your family. Please come visit us to experience the warmth and spirit of our very special school.

Maimonides School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Maimonides School’s admissions decisions are need-blind and are not influenced by a family’s financial situation.

We are pleased to announce that Maimonides is a recipient of a generous grant from the newly launched Morton E. Ruderman Inclusion Scholarship Fund.

A partnership between CJP, the Ruderman Family Foundation and Gateways: Access to Jewish Education, this new Fund will help to defray the cost of both school-based and ancillary services for students with disabilities and special needs, particularly those who require financial aid. The goal of the Fund is to attract new families who are prevented from sending their children with disabilities and special needs to Boston-area Jewish day schools due to affordability challenges, as well as to support existing families by sustaining and enhancing current financial aid awards. The Fund honors the legacy of Morton E Ruderman, and all that he did to inspire and support our community in creating more inclusive schools for all Jewish children.
